About MITT 
The Mercer Island Travel Team (MITT) baseball program consists of 10 youth baseball teams ranging in age from 8U to 12U. It was created with three part mission:
| Goal #1 | | Provide our most talented 8-12 year olds opportunities for higher level practices and competition | | Goal #2 | | Create opportunities for ITT kids to play competitive baseball after age 12 | | Goal #3 | | Provide the MI community (kids and families) with a unique on-island opportunity to support and celebrate island baseball |
The program is run by a 9 person independent board made up of island parents who love Mercer Island baseball. 5 age specific representatives are joined by 4 at large members. The board meets monthly to plan and execute the tasks associated with running the ITT program.
